Nylon (PA) is considered an engineering resin. This material is generally used for applications where strength and toughness are needed in the end product. In many circumstances, Nylon is used as a replacement to steels and other metal alloys. Nylon offers excellent wear and chemical resistance. The natural color of Nylon is “off-white”, colorant can be added to the raw material to meet the customer’s needs. Nylon can handle higher temperatures than many thermo-plastic materials. This material, in its natural state, is heavier than water; meaning it will sink in water. The ball blanks can be manufactured by injection molding or CNC lathe operation.
